    Have you ever questioned whether an item is recyclable or just contaminating your recycling bin? Here is your chance to have your questions answered! Please join us for a question/answer segment with pictures highlighting how Republic Services sorts our recyclable materials.

      Composting in small areas: Creating your own composting bin

      Do you live in an apartment, condominium, or house with a small backyard, yet you still want to compost? Attend this workshop to build your very own composting bin using worms! A worm bin, otherwise known as vermicomposting is a great way to compost your food scraps without having access to an outdoor area.

        Please bring in your own plastic bin container with a lid, some newspaper, and we’ll supply the worms! ((RSVP) required, however walk ins are welcome).

          Become a Desert Gardener: Learn how to grow a garden in the desert

          Here is your chance to learn how to grow a garden in the desert! Whether it’s how to improve your roses, or how to grow a vegetable garden, this is the class to get all of your questions answered! Please bring in any type of planting container, and we will supply the rest. March is the perfect time to start your garden. (RSVP required, however walk ins are welcome).
